Rome – Assisi – Santiago

9 Days

On your last day in Santiago you will visit  the “Costa da Morte – fishing regions”, with the company of a guide. The trip makes stops in Muros, Fisterra and Muxia. Before getting Muros, we will make an stop in “Paxareiras” a privileged view point to see the whole coast. Our next stop will be “Ezaro” whose waterfall is the only one in Europe that flows directly on the sea, fact that makes this stop obligatory for its particularity. The next stop in our way is in Fisterra, the ancient end of the world, where the lighthouse is employed to explain some of the adventures that suffer the boats that used to pass in front of the dangerous coast. The Lunch will be in a Finisterre restaurant. In the afternoon we will reach our last stop in Muxia, known as the Ground Zero of the Prestige tragedy, there is found the “Virxe da barcca” sanctuary.

<p>Arrive at Fiumicino airport where you will be met by your guide and then take a panoramic tour of Rome by bus, time permitting (depending on the arrival time). Dinner and accommodation in Hotel 4*</p>

Day 2 :
Rome

<p>Breakfast at the hotel. Guided visit to the Rome Center: Saint Peter’s Square, Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel, Imperial Forum and coliseum. Lunch at a typical restaurant, dinner and accommodation in 4**** hotel.</p>

Day 3 :
Rome

<p>Breakfast at the hotel before continuing your tour of Rome during the morning. Lunch will be in a restaurant, free time during the afternoon for shopping or optional visit to the archaeological excavations of Ostia Antica or Divino Amore sanctuary. Dinner and accommodation in 4**** hotel.</p>

<p>Breakfast and departure to Assisi by bus. Visit to the Saint Mary of Angels Basilica. Lunch in 4**** hotel and accommodation. In the afternoon, guided visit to Assisi, Saint Francis Basilica, Saint Chiara, Saint Rufino and to the prison hermitage. Walk around the Comune Square and the Minerva’s Church. Dinner and accommodation in 4**** hotel.</p>

Day 5 :
Assisi

<p>Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Perugia, historical centre. Walk around Corso Vanucci, Priori Palace, and Umbria national gallery. Arrival at November IV square and visit to the Perugian Cathedral. Lunch at a typical restaurant and guided visit to the Saint Lorenzo’s Cathedral Museum. Return to Assisi for dinner and accommodation.</p>

<p>Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Rome airport for your flight to O Porto. Arrival and transfer to Santiago de Compostela by bus. Dinner and accommodation in a central 4**** hotel.</p>

<p>Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the “Monte do Gozo” by bus to carry out a symbolic pilgrimage to the Cathedral, attending the pilgrims mass at 12:00, followed by lunch in a restaurant in the old town. In the afternoon, guided visit to the Cathedral and its roofs. Free time to enjoy the city. Dinner and accommodation in a central 4**** hotel.</p>

Day 8 :

<p>Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to visit to the “Costa da Morte – fishing regions”, with the company of a guide, making stops in Muros, Fisterra and Muxia. Before getting to Muros, we will visit “Paxareiras” a privileged view point to see the whole coast. The next stop is Fisterra, the ancient lighthouse at the 'end of the world' where you will learn of some of the history that boats suffered to pass in front of the dangerous coast. Lunch will be in a Finisterre restaurant. In the afternoon we will reach our last stop in Muxia, known as the Ground Zero of the Prestige tragedy, and the “Virxe da barcca” sanctuary.</p>
